It is very simple. Paste your long link into the box on the home page and click "Shorten". Kortilink automatically generates a short link in the format kortilink.com/xxxxx that you can share anywhere.

When someone clicks your shortened link, they are redirected instantly to the original destination — and we record the click in your analytics. You can shorten any valid URL starting with https:// or http://.

No account is needed for your first 3 links. For history, analytics and advanced features, just create a free account.

No. Links created with an active Kortilink account are permanent and do not expire while your account is active.

Links created without an account (the 3 free links from the home page) stay active for a limited period. To make sure your links live forever, we recommend you create a free account.

The Pro plan costs €4.99 per month, billed monthly. There is no lock-in contract — you can cancel whenever you want, with no penalties.

All payments are processed securely through a certified gateway. You receive a receipt by email after each charge.

Yes, absolutely. You can cancel your Pro plan at any time, with no penalties. Just go to your Dashboard → Account → Subscription and click "Cancel subscription".

After cancelling, you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, the account automatically returns to the Free plan — your links and data are preserved.

You lose nothing. If you cancel Pro:

• All your links stay active and working
• Your analytics history is kept (but you only see the last 7 days on the Free plan)
• Your Bio Page stays online on the Free plan (with the default theme)
• Password-protected links become inaccessible for new visits (but the link itself stays active)

You can always reactivate Pro to get full access back.

The Bio Page is a personal page that gathers all your links under a single URL — the so-called "link in bio". It is perfect for the bio on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X or any social network that allows only one link.

On Kortilink your URL lives at kortilink.com/b/yourname. You can customise:

• Profile picture and name
• Description / bio
• As many links as you want, with icons and titles
• Visual theme (colours, background — on the Pro plan)

And you also get analytics for each individual link on your Bio Page.

Yes! The basic Bio Page is included in the Free plan at no extra cost. You can create your page with a photo, bio and unlimited links on the Bio Page.

With the Pro plan you get extra features such as premium themes, advanced colour customisation and removal of Kortilink branding.

Yes, you can connect your own domain or subdomain to your Bio Page — for example links.yoursite.com. This feature is available on the Pro plan.

The process is simple: in the dashboard go to Bio Page → Settings → Custom Domain and enter your domain. Then set a CNAME record in your DNS manager pointing to Kortilink.

In your Dashboard, go to Bio Page → Analytics. There you can see:

• Total Bio Page views
• Clicks per individual link (click rate of each button)
• Country and device of your visitors
• Evolution over time

On the Free plan you get the last 7 days. On Pro, the full history since day one.

Kortilink tracking works at server level — when someone clicks your link, our server records the click before redirecting to the destination. This means the data is far more reliable than JavaScript-based solutions (which ad blockers block).

For each click we record:

• Exact date and time
• Country and city (IP-based, anonymised)
• Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
• Browser and operating system
• Traffic source (referrer)

Clicks from known bots and crawlers are filtered automatically so they do not distort your data.

Yes. Kortilink was built with privacy in mind and in compliance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Regarding clicks:

• IP addresses are anonymised before any storage
• We do not use tracking cookies on shortened links
• Geolocation data is approximate (city/country), never precise

For scheduled maintenance, we let you know in advance by email and on our social media. Unscheduled maintenance (incidents) is published in real time on our status page.

Your links keep redirecting even during dashboard updates, because redirects and the control panel run on separate infrastructure.
