Where a link like this actually changes something
Shops and orders. A link with "I want to order the…" already written saves people the part that makes them give up: explaining what they want from scratch.
Bookings. Clinics, hair salons, garages. The message already carries the service, and you get a conversation instead of a missed call.
Ads and posters. A QR code with the link on the door, in the window or on a flyer. Passers-by point the camera and are already talking to you.
Social bios. Instagram and TikTok give you one link. If your business lives on WhatsApp, this is the one that belongs there.
The four mistakes that stop the link from working
The country code is missing. The number has to be complete, in international format. A number without the code opens a conversation with a number that does not exist, and the person sees an error instead of your shop.
The trunk zero is still there. In several countries you write a
0 before the number when calling from inside the country. That zero comes off in international format — if it stays, the link will not open.Spaces, dashes and brackets. A number written the way you say it out loud does not work in an address. The generator above cleans that automatically; written by hand, it is the most common mistake.
A group link cannot be generated here — or anywhere. This link opens a conversation with a number. A group link comes from inside WhatsApp, under "Invite via link", and has a different address. No generator can manufacture one, and anyone claiming otherwise is promising the impossible.
Questions
Do I need WhatsApp Business?
No. It works with any WhatsApp account, ordinary or Business.
Does the person have to save my number?
No, and that is rather the point. The link opens the chat straight away, even if your number is not in their contacts.
Is my number stored on this site?
No. The link is assembled in your own browser and never reaches us. You can turn off your internet once the page has loaded and it still works.
Can I put emoji and line breaks in the message?
Yes. Both work — the link takes care of encoding them.
Does it work on a computer?
Yes. It opens WhatsApp Web or the desktop app, depending on what the person has.
